On April 14, Global Communications hosted the firm’s Annual Media Lunch in New York City, drawing interest from more than 50 financial reporters representing leading global outlets including Bloomberg, the Financial Times, Reuters, Nikkei Asia and International Financial Review, among others.

For more than two decades, the event has served as a key opportunity to reinforce the depth of Loomis Sayles’ investment expertise, research capabilities and thought leadership with the financial press.

In recognition of our centennial, Kevin Charleston offered welcome remarks highlighting the important role financial media plays in helping investors navigate increasingly complex and fast-moving markets. He noted the firm’s longstanding commitment to open dialogue with journalists and the value of these relationships in bringing informed, differentiated perspectives to investors.

Tom Fahey moderated a panel discussion with Brian Kennedy, Hassan Malik, David Rolley and Jennifer Thomas. The conversation covered key macro and market themes, including global growth dynamics, the impact of geopolitics, the state of the consumer, AI’s influence on labor and productivity, and the continued convergence of public and private markets. An engaging Q&A with journalists followed. The discussion was wide-ranging, timely and closely aligned with issues shaping current global debates.
